Day 3 Auckland
On arrival in Auckland, travel to Hotel du Vin. Day 4 Auckland - Bay of Islands

Day 5 Bay of Islands
Your cruise today meanders in and out of the many beautiful smaller bays, calling on the locals to deliver their mail as it has done for over 100 years. The cruise is one of the few official Royal Mail runs by boat left in New Zealand, passing many different points of historical interest relating to both early European and Maori settlement. (B)

Day 6 Bay of Islands - Wellington
Transfer to the airport for your flight to New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. You will be whisked by helicopter to Wharekauhau Lodge. Day 7 Wellington
Depart from Wharekauhau to travel along the rugged Palliser Bay coastline. The journey takes you past limestone cliffs, through the fishing village of Ngawi to the lighthouse that has provided a guiding light for ships in the area for many years. (B,D)

Day 8 Wellington - Rotorua
Return to Wellington airport by helicopter for your flight to Rotorua. On arrival transfer to your accommodation at Solitaire Lodge. Solitaire Lodge is one of the most elegant lodges in the South Pacific. The perfect lakeside location, only a short drive from Rotorua, offers stunning panoramas of Lake Tarawera. Day 11 Auckland - Home
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Los Angeles.
