Today you will visit Australia's foremost historical site,
Port Arthur. In the 19th century, Port Arthur was the British Empire's

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Adelaide.

At leisure to explore the city.

8 Adelaide - Hawker
Depart Adelaide for your extended tour with a
knowledgeable driver/guide from Adelaide to
Broken Hill. This morning, an enjoyable drive
to the Clare Valley wine district. Sample some
of the produce and have lunch at one of
the wineries before traveling on to Hawker,
nestled among the beautiful Central Flinders
Ranges. Dinner and Overnight at Hawker
Outback Motel, our base for the next

9 Hawker
After breakfast, we head to Wilpena Pound
for a spectacular Scenic flight. We travel
a unique 4WD off-road track, where we
encounter ancient Aboriginal Rock Art, stunning
landscapes, wildlife and more! (B,L,D)

10 Hawker - Broken Hill
We leave Hawker and tour through the vast outback
country - with lunch at an outback woolshed.
Traveling through Yunta, we make our
way to Broken Hill via the Barrier Highway.
Check in at your accommodation before
dinner at JJ's restaurant in the Legion Club.

11 Broken Hill - White Cliffs
From Broken Hill, travel to the unique opal fields
of White Cliffs. See Underground Houses,
perhaps inspect an Opal mine; walk
around in the "old" field where, in search
of precious opals, over 50,000 holes
were dug. Dinner and overnight at the
underground Dug Out Motel in White Cliffs.

12 White Cliffs - Broken Hill
Complete the visit to White Cliffs and drive to
Mootwingee National Park to explore its history
and grandeur with Aboriginal Art and haunting
memories to take us back in time. After
a picnic lunch, we return to Broken Hill to
our accommodation and dinner at the friendly
Legion Club. (B,L,D)

13 Broken Hill - Sydney
Visit "the Hollywood of the Outback", Silverton. Films
such as "A Town Like Alice",
"Mad Max" and others were filmed here.
Visit Outback Artists' galleries before heading
back to Broken Hill for your departure to
Sydney. On arrival you are met and transferred
to your accommodation, 2
