Travel Agent Profile
Margaret
Dagseth was born in Queensland and has lived in both Brisbane
and Sydney. Margaret now resides in McLean, Virginia. But, her heart
is still in Australia! Margaret has been a travel professional since
1986 when she earned her Certified Travel Consultant Degree. Margaret
specializes in luxury, family, cruise, and group travel to Australia.
Margaret has traveled extensively throughout Australia.
Last
year she traveled to Victoria to view the Great Ocean Road. During
this trip, she also enjoyed the Twelve Apostles, Port Fairy, Apollo
Bay and the amazing Blood on the Southern Cross Sound and Light
Show. This year, Margaret's travels brought her to Tasmania. Whilst
in Tasmania, she particularly enjoyed touring the magnificent Cataract
George in Launceston and her stay at the Seaport Hotel where the
meals were superb. Margaret highly recommends a visit to the Country
Club Resort & Casino to experience their 18-hole championship
golf course, take a stroll along the scenic grounds, and taste Rosevears
Estate's award-winning wine. No visit to Tasmania is complete without
a visit to Freycinet National Park, home to Wineglass Bay - named
one of the world's 10 best beaches.
Did
You Know?
Australia
is the world's sixth largest country. Comparable in size to the
48 mainland states of the USA and 50 per cent larger than Europe,
Australia has the lowest population density in the world - only
two people per square kilometre.
Animals
not found anywhere else on the globe, fabulous plant life and other
wilderness atractions can be found in Australia's amazing 14 World
Heritage Wilderness Areas.
The
Sydney Harbour Bridge, one one the world's most recognized landmarks,
opened in 1932. A short walk from the Harbour Bridge, the Sydney
Opera House is one of the world's premier performing arts centres.
The
Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest reef system, will stun you
with its magnificence. It's as big as the total combined area of
the United Kingdom and Ireland, and contains more than 1,000 islands.
