Day 1: Depart U.S. for Athens
Relax on board your overnight flight to Athens, Greece.
Day 2: Athens
Yassou! Welcome to Athens! Our representative will
greet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 3: Athens
Enjoy a morning half-day tour of Athens. Highlights
include: the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch,
the Theatre of Dionysos, the Acropolis and its museum.
Afternoon at leisure.
Day 4: Athens/Piraeus
You will be transferred to the port of Piraeus to
embark the Olympic Explorer. Sail at 6:00 pm.
Day 5: Corfu
Arrive this morning in Corfu, one of the Greek Ionian
Islands. This delightful island was under Venetian
rule for many years. The quaint old town is wedged
between two fortresses and occupies a peninsula on
the island's east coast. It is known for its beautiful
beaches, green hills and valleys, olive groves and
cypress trees. Sail in the afternoon for Venice.
Day 6: Venice
Spend a day in beautiful and romantic Venice, Italy!
This city never fails to exceed expectation. The majesty
of St. Mark's Square, the romance of gondolas gliding
along the canals, and the unbelievable quaint old
town with its winding streets make it one of the most
incredible cities of the world.
Day 7: Dubrovnik
Morning arrival in Dubrovnik, Croatia. "The Jewel
of the Adriatic" is surrounded by its 1,000 year
old wall. The city is an architectural marvel. Soaring
cathedrals, 16th century monasteries and the Rector's
Palace make this city unique.
Day 8: Nafplion
Nafplion is a charming resort town in the Peloponnese
where the Venetian influence is evident. An optional
shore excursion will take you to Epidauros, the ancient
Greek theater known for its acoustics and to Mycenae
to visit the tomb of King Agamemnon.
Day 9: Dardanelles Strait/Istanbul
Early this morning, cruise through the Dardanelles
Strait...don't miss this unique opportunity to see
nature at work. As you approach Istanbul, Turkey,
you will see why this city is known for its beautiful
skyline! Take the optional shore excursion to Agia
Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand
Bazaar. Don't forget to bargain!
Day 10: Mykonos/Santorini
Morning arrival in Mykonos, Greece. Walk through
the narrow and winding streets lined with white washed
homes, trendy shops, tavernas and cafes of this blue
and white island. In the afternoon, arrive in Santorini,
Greece in time for its breathtaking sunsets! The town
of Fira's white washed houses, narrow streets, open
air cafes and boutiques cling to steep cliffs above.
Take the cable car up the cliff to Fira or do it the
old fashion way, by donkey! If you would like to enjoy

Day 11: Piraeus/Athens/Home
Morning arrival into Piraeus and transfer to the airport
for your return flight home.
Day 10: Mykonos/Santorini
Morning arrival in Mykonos and afternoon arrival in
Santorini. Please refer to Day 10 of the Mediterranean
Interlude for details. Disembark your cruise ship.
You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy
the evening and stunning sunset Santorini is famous
for.
Day 11 & 12: Santorini
Two unforgettable days and nights to enjoy Santorini.
Visit the beaches unique for their black sand nestled
in between the steep cliffs, Akrotiri fabled to be
the lost continent of Atlantis and the Boutari winery.
Stroll through the narrow winding streets of Fira
and enjoy the sunsets while sipping wine or coffee
at one of the many cafes clinging to the cliff! Experience
first hand why Venice and Santorini are among the
romantic capitals of the world!
Day 13: Santorini/Home
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens
and home.
