Celebrity Cruise Line Page

Cruise Style: Premium
Professional service and fine cuisine in a stylish European-flavored
atmosphere are hallmarks of Celebrity Cruises. Other signature amenities
include a cigar club, Martini bar, large standard staterooms with
generous storage, fully equipped spas on the newest vessels, and
butler service for passengers booking the top suites. Multimillion-dollar
private art collections grace the entire fleet.
Special Features
Aside from the sophisticated ambiance, the cuisine designed by
master chef Michel Roux is reason enough to cruise on a Celebrity
ship. Roux creates the menus personally and oversees all aspects
of dining operations. Alternative restaurants on the Millennium,
Infinity, and Summit are a gourmet experience in classic splendor.
Formal attire is required for select evenings.
Passengers
Celebrity caters to American cruise passengers, primarily couples
ranging from their mid-30’s to mid-50’s. Many families
enjoy cruising on Celebrity’s fleet during summer months and
holiday periods, particularly in the Caribbean and Bermuda, although
Alaska is becoming a popular destination for all ages. Lengthier
cruises and exotic itineraries attract passengers in the over-60
age group.
Children's Programs
Each Celebrity vessel has a dedicated playroom and a program of
age appropriate activities designed for children aged 3 to 17. Mercury,
Galaxy, and Century have teen discos and coke-tail and pizza parties.
Evening babysitting can be arranged. The lack of self-service laundry
facilities is a drawback for families.
